Good Morning - Afternoon - Evening...
I haven't sewn in quite some time, since we were stationed at Fort Benning, GA. But I am beginning to get back into and feel its time to express my talent in my stitches. I am also thinking of taking a photography class through the local art league. They really will go hand in hand in my opinion. There are other classes that they offer that I am interested in as well. In time it will all come together, being disabled it has taken me time to get my mind in the right place. It's so easy to get depressed and get into a funky place where you just spend your days passing time. They all seem to fade into one another after a while. I got extremely inspired by looking at several pages on Etsy. Funny thing is... I had joined there a few years back but recently just happened to go back.
Whatever the case was... something led me there. I am hoping that I can get myself going and any and all encouragment would be wonderful. It's so easy to say, "Oh, yup I can do that tomorrow. I hurt too much today. Or I have this to do today so I can just do that tomorrow." I want to change that and show that I can pull myself out of this dance I have been doing with myself for a very long dreary time.
This is the very reason I chose what I did to sew what I am going to do... for the joy and expression of it... Hopefully it will all come very soon.
